Major Injury Collision at Mccray Street and Highland Drive
Bakersfield, CA (May 7, 2022) – At least one person suffered severe injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Mccray Street and Highland Drive.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Bakersfield
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a UPS truck collided with a man riding a motorcycle at the intersection in Bakersfield. The CHP logged the incident Saturday at about 11:45 a.m. Additional details on the description of the motorbike involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Emergency later arrived at the location and rendered aid to the man found lying on the ground. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the truck driver appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic crash at Mccray and Highland in Bakersfield.
