1 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 99 Near White Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 9, 2023) – At least one was injured after a crash on Highway 99 near White Lane in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the wreck took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the collision on May 8 at around 4 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bakersfield. The cars crashed in the bypass lane of northbound Highway 99 near White Lane.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found at least one person who ended up hurt as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel evaluated and then provided aid to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclosethe name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound side of Highway 99 to shut down near White Lane following the wreck. The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
