BAKERSFIELD, California (Saturday, December 26, 2015) – A multi-vehicle traffic collision occurred on southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Station Road. One vehicle crashed through the center divide. Three others managed to pull to the right hand shoulder.
The vehicles involved in the incident included a red Nissan, silver Hyundai, and two black Ford Explorers. Witnesses reported that the incident might have consisted of two separate traffic collisions.
The accident occurred at about 6:06 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield. Precision Towing sent wreckers to the scene to help clean up the site. Police are continuing to investigate the incident to determine liability. No further information is available.
