BAKERSFIELD, California (May 12, 2015) –One person was injured in a head-on car accident on 7th Standard Road late Monday night, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
About 10:50 p.m., CHP officers responded to the two-vehicle crash involving a Mazda 6 and a Honda Civic. One of the drivers had veered into opposing traffic and crashed into the other one in the eastbound lanes, just west of Calloway Drive, the report said.
Paramedics responded to the crash and assisted one person who suffered back and neck pain after the crash. It’s unclear whether they were taken to a hospital or just treated at the scene. Police are investigating the collision and will issue a report with their findings of liability.
“All of us at Johnson Attorneys Group pray that the individuals who were hurt in this crash have a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
