BAKERSFIELD, California (Friday, October 16, 2015) –A silver Ford Taurus struck another, unknown vehicle at the intersection of State Route Highway 184 and Redbank Road. The second vehicle was pushed to the right hand shoulder of the highway. A male passenger of the silver Taurus was seen bleeding profusely from several wounds. Bystanders attempted to clear debris from the accident out of the road as the shattered pieces from the two cars posed a significant traffic hazard.
According to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield, the accident occurred at about 9:57 p.m. A tow truck with a bed wide enough for two vehicles responded to the scene.
