Several Injured in Car Accident at 21st and L Street Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (April 17, 2021) – One officer and multiple other parties suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of 21st and L Street, the KGET reported.
On Saturday, around 11 a.m., a Cadillac sedan slammed into a Kern County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle at the intersection in downtown Bakersfield.

Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one deputy sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Authorities added multiple occupants in the Cadillac also suffered injuries from the collision.
At the moment, the names of the people hurt and the extent of their trauma remained unknown.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time; to determine the precise cause of the car crash at 21st and L Street.
