Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle at 24th and Oak Street Monday
Bakersfield, CA (August 24, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred Monday evening in the area of 24th and Oak Street.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck a male party at the Bakersfield intersection. Our sources indicated the collision took place shortly after 11:40 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a man lying on the ground. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. Due to the condition of the pedestrian, an ambulance rushed him to a local hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Authorities mentioned the driver involved in the wreck stayed at the scene. The unidentified motorist reportedly cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident at 24th and Oak Street happened.
