Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Bakersfiled Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (February 18, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision in the area of Airport Drive and Woodrow Avenue Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the Bakersfield intersection. The make and model of the car involved in the crash remained unknown.

Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after 7:10 p.m. Per CHP log, the pedestrian suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the victim and the extent of their injuries have not been revealed thus far.
Our sources indicated the motorist who struck the pedestrian fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on Airport Drive.
