Woman Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near South Union Avenue and Adams Street
Bakersfield, CA (September 11, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of South Union Avenue and Adams Street.
The KGET News reported a sedan struck a female party at the busy intersection in Bakersfield. Our sources indicated the collision took place Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 2:45 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Responding paramedics found the female pedestrian suffering injuries. Medical personnel rendered aid to the victim. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the injured party have not been revealed thus far.
Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield
The article published online mentioned the driver of the sedan fled the scene after the crash. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. At this time, they continue to investigate the pedestrian accident that happened at South Union Avenue and Adams Street.
