Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Brundage Lane Near Olive Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 19, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on Brundage Lane near Olive Street in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the collision shortly before 7:45 p.m.
Bakersfield police said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit her on Brundage Lane near the intersection with South Olive Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, just east of Oak Street. They found the woman who sustained moderate to major injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to the Kern Medical for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the woman. Officers forced Brundage Lane near Olive Street to close for a time following the crash.
The cause of the Bakersfield pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
