Man Hit and Injured by Vehicles
Bakersfield, CA (September 3, 2022) – A pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening on Brundage Lane, the KGET News reported.
Our sources indicated a man was spotted walking outside of a crosswalk in the area near P Street. Officials said the driver of a passing SUV failed to avoid and struck the pedestrian. Before the victim was able to stand and move, a second vehicle run over the man.
Shortly after 9:43 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian. Due to the serious condition of the victim, medical personnel rushed him to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
