Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Niles Street
BAKERSFIELD (August 3, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a traffic collision along Niles Street on Monday night.
According to an article published by Kern Golden Empire, the accident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Niles Street.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason on Niles Street. It happened near Camino Primavera and Webster Street.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel then transported the patient to the hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not available.
Meanwhile CHP did not mention if the driver of the car involved, a black Chevy Silverado, stopped after hitting the victim. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
