Pedestrian Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Planz Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 27, 2021) – At least one pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Planz Road in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the collision shortly before 6:15 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Bakersfield. The driver hit the person on Planz Road near South High School.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near South P Street. They found the victim who sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient at the site. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. They forced a stretch of Planz Road to shut down following the incident.
The cause of Bakersfield pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
