BAKERSFIELD, California (November 27, 2014) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision Thursday afternoon at 210 Beardsley Avenue, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic accident was reported about 5:10 p.m. Police are searching for the driver of a white van who fled following the accident in an unknown direction without rendering aid to the victim.
Paramedics responded to the crash to assist the injured pedestrian who was down in the traffic lanes.
