Pedestrian Sustains Major Wounds
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (March 31, 2016) – A pedestrian was hurt following a vehicle collision at Edison Highway and Oswell Street Thursday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 8:48 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that authorities responded to an emergency call requesting for aid at the intersection near Potomac Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located a pedestrian and a white Honda involved in a smash.
The force from the impact resulted in the pedestrian suffering in major injuries, as noted in the incident description of the CHP log.
Responding paramedic team likely transported the wounded to a nearby medical facility for proper treatment.
No immediate information was provided on the condition of the involved motorist. But no hit and run call was raised, suggesting that the Honda driver cooperated with the officers.
