July 21- Bakersfield Fatal Pedestrian Accident Stockdale Highway
BAKERSFIELD(July 21, 2017)– According to the Kern Golden Empire, a deadly pedestrian versus auto collision was reported Friday morning on Stockdale Highway.

Police officials were notified of the incident at 2:30 a.m. when a pedestrian was struck within the westbound lanes of Stockdale Highway.
Upon the arrival of police officials, the pedestrian who remains unidentified was sadly pronounced dead upon their arrival.
Limited details have been provided at this time, however, preliminary investigations point to alcohol likely being a contributing factor.
