Fatality ID’d as Roger Oswald, 56
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (April 9, 2016) – A pedestrian was hit by three vehicles resulting in his death at White Lane and Lily Drives Thursday evening, according to the Bakersfield Now.
The fatality was identified as 56-year-old Roger Michael Oswald.
The deadly accident happened at around 10:00 p.m. near Ashe Road.
Preliminary report stated that a pedestrian who attempted to cross on the roadway was suddenly struck by an oncoming vehicle from the west on White Lane.
In an unfortunate event, Oswald was hit by two other vehicles after the initial crash, as mentioned in the article.
Responding authorities pronounced Oswald killed at the scene.
