2 Hurt in Collision at California Avenue and Stockdale Highway
Bakersfield, CA (June 26, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of California Avenue and Stockdale Highway.
The KGET News reported a marked Bakersfield Police Department vehicle, and another car drove through the intersection at the same time. Given that, the two automobiles collided at California and Stockdale. Officials said the crash took place on June 17.
At Least 1 Hospitalized After Car Accident in Bakersfield
Shortly after 7:38 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. The article published online mentioned the officer sustained minor injuries; while the a passenger in the other car complained of pain after the incident. Responding paramedics transported the injured civilian to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic crash that happened at California Avenue and Stockdale Highway.
