BAKERSFIELD, California (October 12, 2015) –One man is dead and two suffered minor injuries in a head-on crash Thursday near the intersection of Zerker and Snow roads in northwest Bakersfield, according to a report by Bakersfield Now.
The crash took place on Friday, October 9 when driver Richard Lee Brown allegedly drifted off the road and then overcorrected and veered into opposing traffic where he struck an SUV with a driver and passenger. Brown died of his injuries and the two others suffered minor injuries.
A full investigation into the crash is underway by police.
