Man Ejected in Rollover Crash; Crash Caused Power Outage in Neighborhood
Bakersfield, Calif. (June 6, 2018) — A car and pickup truck collided Tuesday night at the intersection of Brimhall Road and Mondavi Way, according to Bakersfield Now.
The driver of the white sedan was stopped on the northbound of Mondavi Way, but failed to yield to an oncoming pickup truck heading eastbound on Brimhall Road. The crash resulted in a power outage as the red pickup truck swerved to avoid the collision with the car, crashed into an electrical pole and overturned. The driver of the pickup truck was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the crash. This driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The woman driving the car did not appear to be injured in the crash, but remained at the scene to speak with police who are heading up the investigation.
