1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Grapevine Road

Bakersfield, CA (April 27, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday night, April 27.

According to KGET News, a semi truck crashed in the northbound side of I-5 just south of Grapevine Road. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Emergency crews later responded to the accident scene. When rescue teams arrived, they found soda cans and water scattered all over the traffic lanes.

Major Truck Accident in Bakersfield

Due to the severe condition of the victim, paramedics decided to airlift the victim to Kern Medical for treatment and further evaluation.
