Car Overturns in Truck Accident
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (August 8, 2023) — A car overturned in a accident involving a semi-tanker truck on Highway 99 near Sandrini Road on Tuesday in Bakersfield.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:06 a.m. on August 8th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
It’s unknown what led up to the Toyota Camry sedan and a white big rig truck. However, the car wound up on its roof and at least one occupant had to crawl out from the vehicle to safety.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there were no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
