Multi-Vehicle Collision at State Route 65 and James Road Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (May 26, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident in the area of State Route 65 and James Road, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
The CHP dispatch mentioned a semi truck collided with three passenger vehicles at the Bakersfield intersection. Officials identified the cars involved in the wreck as a white pickup, a Honda Pilot, and a black SUV.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site and found a male party outside of his car. The man reportedly complained of pain to their chest. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, and confirmed he sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck.
Meanwhile, the conditions of other parties involved in the collision have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car and truck accident on State Route 65 in Bakersfield.
