BAKERSFIELD: Two-Vehicle Crash on Comanche Drive at Di Giorgio Road

KERN COUNTY, Calif. (July 21, 2026) — Two people were injured Monday night in a two-vehicle crash on North Comanche Drive at Di Giorgio Road east of Bakersfield in the Di Giorgio area of Kern County.

The drivers of a grey 4-door sedan and a grey or green Honda were involved. Both vehicles were blocking traffic lanes near the Chevron gas station.

According to the California Highway Patrol, one person had major injuries and both people were transported to Kern County Medical Center following the crash at 8:59 p.m. on July 20th.

The CHP is handling the investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident.
