Driver and Passenger Injured After Rollover Crash at Pershing Drive and 26th Street Tuesday
SAN DIEGO, Ca (June 18, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident in the area of Pershing Drive and 26th Street early Tuesday.
According to Fox News and the San Diego Union-Tribune, a suspected DUI driver lost control of his 2000 Toyota pickup while traveling north on Pershing Drive. The pickup eventually rolled over at the Balboa Park intersection.

Shortly after 12:50 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. Paramedics found both the driver, and the front passenger suffered in injuries as a result of the crash. Responding ambulances transported two patients to hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. Our sources indicated the 31-year-old male passenger had a large laceration on the top of his head.
Police said the driver will be arrested on suspicion of DUI after being medically cleared.
