Baldwin Hills Fatal Car Crash on South La Brea Avenue

2 Killed, 2 Injured in Baldwin Hills Crash on South La Brea Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 10, 2021) –  A car crash killed two people and injured two others on La Brea Avenue in the Baldwin Hills neighborhood.

According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:05 p.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Baldwin Hills. They crashed at 3761 South La Brea Avenue between Obama Boulevard and Coliseum Street.

2 Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced two parties dead at the scene. Two women ended up suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel soon took them to a hospital and listed them in fair condition. The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released.

Meanwhile, officials forced a stretch of South La Brea Avenue to shut down for hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Baldwin Hills crash is still under investigation.
