3 Injured in Baldwin Park Crash at Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue
BALDWIN PARK, CA (May 6, 2022) – Several were injured after a crash at Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue in Baldwin Park.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and ABC 7 News, the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6:15 p.m.
At least three vehicles, including a city bus, collided for an unknown reason in Baldwin Park. They crashed at the intersection of Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue.
One of the cars involved rolled onto its side as a result of the collision. Police said the impact shattered the front windshield of the bus.
Cars and City Bus Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of three people who ended up hurt. One victim sustained serious injuries in the incident.
The other two patients survived with minor to moderate injuries. Medical personnel then took all three victims to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ramona and Downing to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Baldwin Park crash is still under investigation.
