2 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Banning Crash on Ramsey Street and Interstate 10
BANNING, CA (July 29, 2022) – A crash killed two people and injured two others on the Ramsey Street on-ramp to the Interstate 10 in Banning.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:37 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Banning. They crashed near the Ramsey Street on-ramp to the Interstate 10 and the Municipal Airport.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and freed at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. They soon pronounced two individuals dead at the scene.
Two more parties ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed them to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Banning crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the Ramsey Street on-ramp to the Interstate 10 to shut down for a time following the wreck.
