Motorcyclist Killed in Banning Crash at Woodland Avenue and Williams Street
BANNING, CA (October 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash at Woodland Avenue and Williams Street in Banning.
According to The Press Enterprise and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:20 p.m.
Banning police said the motorcycle rider and a pickup truck collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed in the 2500 block of West Williams Street at the intersection with Woodland Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the motorcyclist lying unresponsive on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Williams and Woodland to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the fatal Banning crash is still under investigation.
