Teen Seriously Injured and Hospitalized
DATE OF COLLISION: Wednesday, October 31st
November 1, 2018- According to KESQ News, a major injury pedestrian accident was reported last night on Halloween at the intersection of 20th and Wilson streets.
The collision occurred at roughly 8:00 p.m. triggering the response of The Banning Police Department who quickly arrived at the scene.
Driver Remains at Scene Following Collision
According to the report, an unidentified teenager whose age or gender was not specified was hit by an unknown vehicle whose driver remained at the scene following the accident.
The victim sustained major injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical center for immediate treatment. Their condition has not been updated as of Thursday morning.
At this time, Banning police officials were unable to determine what exactly transpired or whether or not the victim had been trick-or-treating at the time.
No further information or facts were provided as the incident is under investigation.
