Rider, 33, Killed in Crash on Grant Line Road Friday
BANTA, Ca (July 16, 2020) – A 33-year-old man died in a traffic collision on Grant Line Road on July 3, Friday.
According to Tracy Press News, the adult male from Jamestown was riding a 2004 Yamaha FZ1 motorcycle heading east on Grant Line Road. When the motorcyclist approached the Banta juntion, a 2006 Toyota Sienna traveling west on Grant made a left turn at the T intersection to drive south on Bird.
The front of the Toyota struck the motorcycle rider, officials confirmed. The crash happened around 6:20 p.m.

Our sources indicated a Good Samaritan stopped in the area and began CPR to the motorcyclist found lying on the roadway. When medical teams arrived, they rushed the victim to San Joaquin General Hospital, where he later sadly died.
Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the 59-year-old man behind the wheel of the Toyota appeared unharmed after the mishap.
Detectives handling the case continue to determine who had the right of way at the time of the collision. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
