Cindy Thao Injured in Wiilows Crash
WILLOWS (August 22, 2017)- According to Action News Now, a major injury collision involving a young teen and woman took place Sunday evening on State Road 45 near County Road 61.
The crash which comprised of just a single vehicle took place at roughly 8:00 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Cindy Thao, 20, had been headed northbound on State Route 45 struck a tree off the side of the road after losing control of her vehicle.
Her passenger identified as Bao Lor, 16, suffered major injuries and was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center and remains in the intensive care unit, per the article.
Meanwhile, Thao was moderately hurt and taken to Enloe Med Center for her injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the collision and are unsure at this time whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.
