Barbara Boucke Injured in Marin County Car Crash

1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Collision on Highway 1

Marin County, CA (April 2, 2023) – Barbara Boucke, an 83-year-old woman, suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on State Route Highway 1.

Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on SR-1 in Marin County

The Marin Independent Journal reported Boucke, of Stinson Beach, was behind the wheel of a Subaru Crosstrek heading north on SR-1. For reasons still unclear, the Subaru collided with a man riding a Yamaha motorcycle; and a man riding a BMW motorcycle. The horrible crash took place Saturday afternoon, April 1.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene, near Fairfax-Bolinas Road, around 1:15 p.m. First responders found one motorcyclist unconscious. According to the article published online, the 60-year-old man driving the Yamaha motorbike sadly died in the collision.

Meanwhile, the woman driving the Subaru complained of chest pain after the catastrophic incident. Medical personnel transported Barbara Boucke to MarinHealth Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation.

Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly crash that happened on Highway 1 in Marin County.
