Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Baker Boulevard
Barstow, CA (July 31, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a gray Chrysler car struck an individual in the southbound side of I-15. The horrible crash took place in the area near the Baker Boulevard onramp. The CHP logged the incident at about 4:23 a.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 in Barstow
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures the victim. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and passed away at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the Chrysler involved in the unfortunate event. At this time, detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Interstate 15 in Barstow.
