Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Main Street Onramp
Barstow, CA (November 20, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident happened Friday evening on Interstate 15, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a male party was seen walking along the northbound traffic lanes of I-15 around 9:11 p.m. In the area near Main Street onramp, a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian. The CHP dispatch described the car involved in the crash as a silver Dodge Charger.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 in Barstow
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the injured pedestrian. Our sources mentioned the man sustained major wounds on both his legs. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
