Rollover Accident in Barstow, Interstate 15 Freeway
Barstow, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Monday afternoon just east of Barstow on the Interstate 15 Freeway which is also known as the Barstow Freeway.
The collision occurred about 12:12 p.m. on August 1st, in San Bernardino County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A white Toyota Matrix was traveling southbound on the Interstate 15 Freeway and collided with an unknown vehicle. This crash caused the Toyota Matrix to roll onto the northbound right hand side of the freeway. All the people in the Toyota were reported to get out of the vehicle. The other vehicle involved, ended up in the center divide.
An elderly man was reported to be bleeding from his left ear along with a small child who had cuts on his feet. An ambulance was requested and paramedics immediately responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived on the scene to remove the damaged vehicles off the highway. Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the accident in Barstow on the Interstate 15.
