BARSTOW, California (May 27, 2014) – At least one was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a rollover car accident on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Basin Road off ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 9:35 a.m., CHP officers responded to the collision where they reported a vehicle had rolled over onto its side on the southbound side of the freeway. The crash, which was blocking two lanes, trapped and injured at least one person who was bleeding from the mouth.
The injured person was airlifted by helicopter ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
“Hopefully this individual has a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police are investigating this crash to determine liability. More information is pending their investigation and can be obtained in their report once it’s released.”
