2-Vehicle Collision on I-15 in Barstow
BARSTOW, Calif. (August 11, 2023) — A Barstow truck accident happened Friday on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Old Highway 58.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound lanes around 6:48 a.m. on August 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a semi-truck collided with a red SUV. The SUV spun around and was facing the wrong way in a ditch on the right shoulder of the highway.
The semi-truck driver stopped after the collision.
Paramedics responded and helped at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the SUV was towed from the crash site and investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Barstow accident on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
