2-Vehicle Bay Point Car Accident on State Route Highway 4

Bay Point Car Accident Highway 4, San Marco Boulevard (Feb. 24) BAY POINT, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2021) — A Bay Point car accident left at least one person injured Wednesday on Highway 4.

The two-vehicle collision happened about 7:09 a.m. near San Marco Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Also, the drivers of a white Dodge Challenger and a Ford pickup truck were involved. Paramedics responded to treat one person for minor injuries, however, it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital. The CHP report does not identify those involved, nor does it say how many people were in the vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Dodge suffered rear-end damage and got towed from the scene. The report did not state what damage the pickup may have suffered.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP to determine fault. Additional details will be revealed as police learn more about what led up to the crash.
