Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash on Highway 4 in Bay Point
BAY POINT, Calif. (August 23, 2022) — A motorcycle accident in Bay Point happened Tuesday morning on the westbound Highway 4, just east of the Bailey Road North off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 6:05 a.m. on August 23th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a motorcycle and a Ford Explorer SUV collided due to unknown circumstances, police said.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured motorcyclist, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the sports bike from the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
