Woman, 63, Seriously Injured in Bay Terraces Hit-and-Run on Paradise Valley Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on Paradise Valley Road in Bay Terraces.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the collision on August 20 at about 9:29 p.m.
The incident began when a female pedestrian was walking across Paradise Valley Road in the Bay Terraces neighborhood. At the same time, a vehicle was going west.
San Diego police said for an unknown reason, the driver then struck the 63-year-old woman in the middle of the 7800 block of the road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the victim left suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed her to a hospital for treatment of pelvic and tibia/fibula fractures. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the woman and fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of Paradise Valley Road to shut down following the collision.
The Bay Terraces hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
