Truck vs. Bicycle Crash on Herrick Avenue Wednesday
Bayview, CA (March 24, 2022) – One person died following a traffic collision that occurred on Herrick Avenue Wednesday afternoon, the Redheaded Blackbelt News reported.
Our sources indicated an accident between a bicyclist and a truck took place; in the area between Highway 101 and Elk River Road. According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place at about 4:47 p.m.
At Least 1 Killed in Bayview Traffic Accident, March 23
When emergency crews arrived at the junction of Herrick and Noe, they immediately rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. It was not confirmed if the bicyclist was the fatal victim in the accident.
Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal crash on Herrick Avenue in Bayview.
