Woman Fatally Struck by Commercial Truck at 6th Street and Highland Springs Avenue

Beaumont, CA (May 1, 2023) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of 6th Street and Highland Springs Avenue Monday morning, May 1.

Pedestrian Killed in Beaumont Accident

The KESQ News reported a commercial truck hit a female party at the intersection in Beaumont. Shortly after 8:43 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the victim lying in the roadway. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The CalFire crews declared the woman dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the truck stayed in the area and cooperated with law enforcement. Investigators handling the case continue to gather information to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened at 6th Street and Highland Springs Avenue in Beaumont.
