At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Oak Valley Parkway Onramp Monday
Beaumont, CA (March 1, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway on February 28, Monday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported at least two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the highway in Beaumont. Officials mentioned the traffic accident took place in the area near Oak Valley Parkway onramp.
Shortly after 9:24 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the occupants of the solo-car left at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one victim sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned the other vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene. Officials believed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a dark-colored Honda Civic when the accident happened.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the crash. Further investigation is ongoing on the traffic accident on Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
