Pedestrian, 61, Hit and Badly Injured by Vehicle at Highland Springs and 8th Street

December 20, 2018 – A 61-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Highland Springs Avenue and 8th Street, according to NBC News.
The elderly man was reportedly struck by a vehicle in the crossing Wednesday at about 8:40 p.m.

Responding paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Medical records indicated the patient remained hospitalized Thursday.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the motorist involved stopped following the collision and stayed at the scene.
