Becky Roberts Injured in Tuolumne County Crash on Highway 49 Near Parrotts Ferry
TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (February 17, 2022) – A car crash left Becky Roberts injured on Highway 49 in Tuolumne County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the Sonora woman as the victim of the collision which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Becky Roberts was driving an orange Subaru AWD Crosstrek on Highway 49 in Tuolumne County. She then made a complete stop for a construction, just south of the Parrotts Ferry Road junction.
Multiple Cars Collide
For an unknown reason, a 1987 Pontiac Fiero slammed into the rear of a silver Lexus ES 300 behind her. CHP said the impact forced the Lexus into her Subaru.
The Crosstrek rolled on top of the two vehicles as a result of the collision. Becky Roberts sustained unknown injuries following the Highway 49 crash.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and provided treatment to the patient. The Union Democrat wrote that the accident occurred on February 15 at about 1 p.m.
Meanwhile, the cause of the Tuolumne County crash is still under investigation.
