Anthony Scott, 29, Arrested on DUI Charges
MURRIETA, Calif. (May 16, 2024) — Belinda Baliton, 73, died, and Anthony Scott, 29, of Temecula, was arrested following a crash early Thursday on Hancock Avenue, just south of Parkcrest Drive in Murrieta.
The two-vehicle collision happened just after midnight on May 16th, according to The Patch.
Belinda Baliton, who was a passenger in the other vehicle, suffered major injuries. Paramedics rushed her to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Hospital where she later died. Also, the man driving the vehicle she was riding in was injured and also hospitalized.
Meanwhile, police arrested the 29-year-old Temecula man on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter/intoxication and DUI causing injury or death.
He is being held at Southwest Detention Center on $75,000 bail, according to jail records.
