Officer Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 710 Freeway Friday
Bell Gardens, CA (August 27, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol officer suffered injuries following a suspected DUI car crash on the Interstate 710 Freeway.
According to On Scene TV News, a white sedan slammed into the back of a CHP patrol vehicle. The collision took place near E. Florence Avenue in Bell Gardens.
Medical personnel arrived at the accident scene shortly after 12:35 a.m. The article published online mentioned one officer suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Due to the condition of the officer, emergency crews transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

Officials added the two female occupants in the white sedan also sustained injuries in the collision. Paramedics transported the women to the hospital in unknown condition.
Investigators later mentioned the female driver of the sedan showed signs of intoxication. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the DUI car crash in Bell Gardens.
