Multi-Vehicle Collision on 91 Freeway
Bellflower, CA (May 6, 2022) – A traffic crash that occurred on 91 Freeway resulted in injuries, the CBS News reported.
Officials said a pedestrian was seen walking along the side of the freeway Friday afternoon. According to the article published online, the pedestrian apparently waved vehicle debris at passing vehicles.
For reasons still unclear, the pedestrian stepped into the westbound lanes of 91 Freeway. An oncoming big rig reportedly swerved to avoid hitting the individual. When the big rig made a turn, it collided into one or more cars driving on the highway.
Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of all the occupants in the truck, and the other vehicles. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the pedestrian appeared unharmed after the incident.
Investigators continue to gather several information to determine the precise cause of the crash on 91 Freeway in Bellflower.
