Motorcyclist Injured in Belmont Hit-and-Run on Highway 101 Tuesday
BELMONT (October 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run crash along Highway 101 Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident was reported at about 8:11 a.m. near the Ralston Avenue off-ramp.
According to the report log, the motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason on the northbound side of Highway 101.

Paramedics responded to the site and found the rider suffering from minor injuries as a result of the collision.
The patient was then transported to Stanford Hospital to be treated for possible concussion. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the suspect.
